VillageWalk

VillageWalk is a private, gated community located on the very southern end of Palmer Ranch. Behind the manned guard gate are 1,177 residences sprawling through 516 acres of landscaped property.

The community is largely homogeneous, consisting of just two models of single family homes and two versions of town homes. All homes are maintenance free, ensuring uniformity in quality and aesthetic. The community boasts miles of walking paths along scenic lakes and preserves.

VillageWalk is designed as a small self-sufficient ” resort village” and as such has a lakefront Town Center, providing convenient amenities including multi-purpose meeting rooms, a complete state-of-the-art fitness center, six lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, heated lap pool and tropical lagoon pool. There is also a gas station, deli and cafe, hair salon, bank, gift shop and post office exclusively for VillageWalk residents. There is an in-house staff providing real estate services, rental services, and over 30 different social activities.

Although on Palmer Ranch, these communities are a bit removed. The beach is about 20 minutes away, and downtown is approximately a 30 minute drive. VillageWalk, however, provides one of the truest “resort” atmospheres in Sarasota, and thus is popular for seasonal rental visitors.
